The $6 billion Melbourne Metro PPP project has delivered a new 9-kilometre train tunnel under Melbourne's inner city and five new underground stations. The stations provide wider platforms, more natural light, intuitive wayfinding and bring world-class urban design to the heart of Melbourne and its train network. The two stations in central Melbourne also include significant over station developments (OSDs). The project is structured as an availability-based PPP, with development agreements, and PPP / OSD interface arrangements.

During the bid stage, Dan led the development of the solutions for the integrated over station developments, and was responsible for resolution of the commercial interfaces between the State, PPP and OSD developers (Lendlease and Scape) for contract close.
