The new Sydney International Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment Precinct (SICEEP) included the build, own, finance and operation of convention, exhibition and entertainment facilities along with revitalised public domain.

The project also included an integrated mixed use development under a PDA which included a hotel, student accommodation, office, retail carparking and residential delivery.

Ed was part of the Capella Capital team that led the successful Darling Harbour Live (DHL) consortium responsible for the project under a PPP. The DHL consortium is made up of ASM Global (previously, AEG Ogden), Spotless, HOSTPLUS and Lendlease.

Ed subsequently worked on the process of refinancing into an innovative long-term bank debt tranche that took advantage of favourable market conditions and the NSW Government’s partial debt pay down.
