The Exemplar Health consortium, including Lendlease, Spotless, Siemens and Capella Capital, was awarded the contract to design, build, finance and maintain the $1.8 billion Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH).
While a Director at Capella Capital, Ed led the demand forecasts for the 3,500 car parking spaces and the assumption of demand risk by Exemplar Health.
Subsequently, Ed also led a refinancing of SCUH in 2018 for Exemplar Health. As the asset reached operational stabilisation and the demand profile of the carpark became a proven cashflow from a greenfield forecast, the refinancing took advantage of the improved cashflow quality.
